Swimming in Lake Hopatcong

 

Lake Hopatcong is a very busy lake in the summer months.

Select a nice quiet cove like Byram Cove to anchor your boat and enjoy swimming at the lake.

The main lake area is not a good place to let the kids swim due to heavy boat traffic and deep water. 

You may find some nice beach areas on the lake, however some of these are community owned.

Please respect the communities that have private beach areas.
